THE CONCEPT
A NEW CULTURAL HOME
UNDER ONE ROOF

Les Arts Gstaad unites cultural creativity in a comprehensive style and manner:
all over Switzerland, Les Arts Gstaad is known as THE location for art and art exhibitions, for music and concerts, readings and literary events, amateur theatre, ballet and symposiums as well as for the promotion of young talent and education. In particular, Les Arts Gstaad will accommodate internationally renowned cultural events, first and foremost being the international Menuhin Festival with its academies. Les Arts Gstaad gives the Menuhin Festival a new home: the Festival is being relocated from the previous festival marquee to the spacious concert hall. Focusing on a top-quality offer, the people responsible have decided to offer 1,800 seats for the public in the new concert hall instead of the previous 1,200 seats in the festival marquee. In addition, Les Arts Gstaad aims to be a stage for local artists and budding young artists, creating a new cultural home under a shared roof for a large number of people in Saanenland. A new self-image is gaining ground thanks to cooperation, the launching of new projects and the vitalizing of valuable cultural activities rich in tradition.
In the process, the architecture of Les Arts Gstaad not only defines the aesthetic framework. It also creates and celebrates a new quality of cultural enjoyment in an exceptional building.
